I Heard That Muscles Burn Fat, So….?
If I work out one area more than the rest of my body (e.g. belly), will I loose more belly fat or just build more muscle underneath belly?

muscles dont burn fat, doing exercise and using your muscles burns calories and therefore eventually using fat up. If you exercise your stomach muscles then you will lose belly fat, because your using your abdominal muscles. however, you will also build muscle as you lose fat, so your kind of right

you’ve probly heard that you burn calories everyday without working out just from your body…well mouslce does that too mouslces will burn fat regularly but at a very slow rate, your best bet is to cardio and ab workouts in small incriments, you should stay away from saturated fats and uhhh…..McDonalds!!

walking around the block or dancing for an hour works almost ALL of your muscles. Legs, arms, back and waist.
I lost almost 10 pounds and LOTS of inches just walking up and then back down 2 flights of stairs at work!!! Just 2 times a day. Ignore the elevator, up the stairs, do what I had to do, then back down the stairs.
In a month, I was in a size smaller slacks with a tighter tummy. An inch off my waist.
No dieting. No ‘exercising’. Just no elevator.
While at IBM I had to walk down 13 flights of stairs — fire alarm — no elevators allowed. I did it. I was not huffing or puffing.
Those two flights of stairs for 6 months got me back in shape.
Wish I could sell it on dvd somehow. Because it works.

yes im pretty sure it is true i’ve heard alot of people have said stuff about that!!! im sure crunches would work but i buy the dollar balls at dollar general or dollar store they work pretty good place it under your lower back and it is easier and better!!! (comfier!)

You will build more muscle beneath the fat, but it still won’t show unless you’ve reduced your body fat percentage. It will burn more calories (for muscle maintenance), so it’s not exactly burning fat from areas of the body.

muscles dont burn fat, they require energy from carbohydrates that ends up not being converted to fat. you cannot control where fat is lost from, so yes you will just be building muscle under the fat
