I Am A Male Ballroom Dancer, But I Have Some Fat On My Belly + Pecs That I Want To Get Rid Of?

Personally, I run, hike, walk, and rollerblade. I’d avoid swimming as exercise since all the time in the cold water makes your body want to store fat for insulation (think of how rare it is to see ripped competitive swimmers…) But if you’re already dancing, you’re probably getting enough exercise and need to look at your diet. I’m not talking “dieting”, e.g. starving, but making sure you’re eating the right things, in the right amounts.
Check out traineo.com – they have an interesting method for motivation and tracking your performance that has been working for me – I’m down 5 lbs in 3 weeks and had to slow myself down a bit. I also recommend starting a food journal where you write down what you eat every day and how many calories it is. It seems pointless and stupid until you try it for a few weeks and watch the pounds melt away like magic.
Good luck. It’s simple, but takes discipline and dedication.
