unfortunately there is no way to accurately determine that as everybody carries excess weight differently on the body. genetics determines where fat is lost from first in last. in most males the abdominal region is where fat will remain the most while it decreases from the extremities at a higher rate.
once you get down to the upper to mid teens in body fat% it will get easier. also if you are heart healthy you can increase the level of intensity that you perform cardio or weight training. training at a high level of intensity (75% of the VO2max) for 60-80 minutes causes the greatest increase in the resting metabolic rate.

Well, you can work it out. You lost 40lb and 4 inches of your waist, so 10lb per inch in your case.

I went from 245lbs to 195lbs from last June to today. I was size 40 waist at 245 and size 34 now. I could fit in a 32 waist-wise, but my butt and quads are huge and feel tight in a 32.

How tall are you? It’s roughly 1 inch per 10 lbs, but it also depends on how much fat is on your entire body. You should loose fat equally across your entire body. If you’re at 43″ and 193 lbs, you must be around 5′? Loose about 50 pounds more. Ab exercises won’t slim your waist. They will tighten it, but possible increase the size since the muscles will be getting larger under the fat.
