I do too. The best thing I’ve noticed for me is: 1) diet, 2) more abdominal workouts (different kinds, but for fat below the belly button, I do the hanging leg raises) and 3) more cardio. Good luck!

I think that area is one of the hardest places to lose, but don’t give up! You can do it and it’s great that you’ve recognized and pinpointed an area to work on. http://www.Prevention.com has a flat belly diet – just go to the site and click on “flat belly diet” just below the purple box. I haven’t tried it though, so cannot attest to the effectiveness.
My recommendation is to eliminate sugar from your diet. That includes sodas (diet soda too). Try substituting raw vegetables, which act as roughage, and drink plenty of water to cleanse the body. My favorites are carrots, radishes, green bell peppers and cucumbers. I cut them up into serving sizes and keep them in the fridge, so when I go for a snack, that’s what’s ready. If you’d like a drink other than water, try green tea with no added sugars. Try it for a couple of weeks and check if you see and feel a difference.
Don’t forget to exercise. Cardio exercises such as running and walking affect the belly too. Alternate with weight training for overall fitness.
Good luck! I also wrote a blog on avoiding sugar that you might find useful. Here is a link: http://buzz.prevention.com/community/sha…

you have to initiate overall body fat loss via many varieties of cardio and toning exercises…diets never work,so just eat healthier food options, keep complex carb intake moderate and avoid bad fats
