Does Fat Not Burn By Doing Muscle Excercises?
I have been advising my mom to do sit-ups to get rid of her extra belly flab. However i heard that cardio excercise burns fat. Which is better? Sit ups or cardio?

Cardio. Sit ups will build the muscles in her core, but if there is fat on top of it, that won’t go away. You need some good old high intensity cardio to burn fat. Her heart rate needs to be high enough that she can not carry on a conversation while working out. For instance walking is all find and dandy, but I can talk and walk. Once I start jogging I am too busy breathing to be talking.

Answer: Situps and cardio combination.
Fat and muscle are fibers and tissues compacted from raw nutrients like carbohydrates, proteins and fats from food. When your body doesn’t have enough of this energy in your body from food to perform whatever it may be that you are trying to do, it will break down fat or muscle, turn it back into nutrients, and use that. You sweat out the garbage.
Keep this in mind. For example if you wan’t to lose some weight, wake up a bit earlier, eat an apple, drink a glass of water, do some stretches and go for a jog. When you begin to sweat, you know you’re burning fat. If you have more muscle than fat, your body will start taking muscle. Chances are you have more fat than muscle anyways, so don’t worry.
