Diet: Lean meats (if any). If you can go vegetarian, you will see benefits that I can’t explain. When I was about 23, I went vegetarian, ran a marathon, a 134 mile relay race and got down to about 11% body fat without even trying. I’ll get off my horse, sorry.
Eat as much veggies as you can. they will clean your body and give you vitamins and minerals like no other food source. Don’t neglect your protein though. Lot’s of beans, legumes, fish, and chicken. Try to keep your calorie intake to about 1200-1500 calories per day.
Exercise: Try cycling. You will tone all those muscle groups and maybe have fun doing it. Running will do it too. I know you might think that it won’t help your stomach, but both of those exercises require a lot of stabilizing muscles which involve your back and abs. you can also do some exercises focusing on your target areas to tone up. Check the link below. It is free and has a bunch of good info and tools. Good luck.
Bye the way, you sound like your size is fine. But I understand wanting to be more tone.

Swimming is the most effective way to improve your cardiovascular health, tone your muscles, and lose weight. The best part is it not bad on your joints. It is fun too.
I did aerobics and tennis in HS and I am paying for it with snapping knee joints in my 30′s.
Eat fruit with breakfast and eat lots of broccoli whenever you get a chance. It is full of calcium. You need to build your calcium stores right now. During puberty your body stores calcium in your bones more efficiently than any other time in your life. Get those yummy chocolate calcium chews and drink skim milk and eat yogurt too.
Enjoy your highschool years! They go by much too fast.

You’re a good weight for your height. If you avoid junk food and take up a sport or two, you’ll never have to worry about your figure. Try to pick a sport that you truly enjoy, so it will be fun instead of work.

Low fat high protein for the diet, also drink only water, NO sugar…… exercise – Cardio, run, jog, elliptical machine or do aerobics, do not eat after dinner….. eat foods high in protein, eat fruits for snacks.

Unfortunately, there’s no way to “spot reduce” (or lose weight and tone up in only certain parts of the body). For the area that you seem concerned with, though Pilates sounds like it would be perfect. It’s movements focus mainly on the core, imagine a band from your stomach to upper thighs. There are tons of great DVDs that you should check out…good luck!

Try low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein, and exercise. The foods are low caloried, and yet filling and healthy.
Brisk walking is great for burning lower body fats.
It is my lifestyle now. I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs/14kg and gained better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs/49kg for more than a year, with more fruits and complex carbs.
Details such as my experience, meals, recipes, foods to buy, reading labels, walking as an exercise and to shape the body etc etc, are in my blog.
