I am trying to get a six pack, but I need to get rid of the extra fat on my stomach first right?? What is the best way I can do that???

yes. 30 mins of running 5-6 days a week with proper diet will do it. also, try doing crunches and sit ups every day to define and strengthen ur stomach muscles.

Well its the best for fitness yes. it burns calories and can get you moving and running further faster. Its great for the waist and the hips and most, the legs. BUT..with any fitness program, you have to eat right and don’t over do it!

weight training is the best way to burn fat..but running ain’t bad either. If you do a lot of reps with light weights you will burn more fat calories..weights combined with running you’ll be slim in no time

Running is a good way to burn off fat – I saw the best results when I ran on a treadmill every day. Of course I didn’t have the will power to keep on doing that, but it was good while it lasted.
Any type of aerobic exercise is good for getting rid of fat.

I think running is great but you also have to do something else like cruches and stuff so youre tonned all over and wont have like exess skin or w/e

Combine BAM and Raquel D’s response. Weight lifting buuilds muscle. Muscle burns fat in order to stay alive. however not all fat is burned by muscle. that’s where running comes in. all the fat that the muscle won’t burn the runnin will

I know a lot of people recommend “30 minutes on the treadmill everyday.” But I would say try some sprints (400m or less). Start off easy with only a couple with a 2 minute break in between. Work your way up over the next few weeks. They will kick your *** and you’ll have a flat stomach along with all around fat loss and tightening. Enjoy.
