I recently lost over 30 kilos and I always exercised on an empty stomach. Aproximately 3-4 hours after you eat, you start burning stored fat as fuel. You’ll be happy to know that if you wait at least an hour after you exercise to eat you will burn even more calories as your metabolism is raised:)

Works for me! A couple of years back, due to an unfortunate side effect of carbohydrate craving while on some medication I gained nearly 3 stone (over 40 lbs) in 9 months. While on the meds it didn’t make much difference (’cause I was eating far too much!) but once off them it was great.
I started the day with a cup of warm water with a few drops of lemon juice and always had a glass of water on hand while I exercised. I then either hopped on my step machine for a 25 minute workout or did a 25 minute workout on my ball. I would average 4-5 morning workouts a week and with no other additional exercise I lost over 30 lbs within the next 3 months – and most importantly the weight has stayed off.
I still workout occasionally in the morning as it gives me a great ‘get-up-and-go’ feeling but usually only a couple of times a week at most.
I think the reason it helps weight loss is the ‘get-up-and-go’ feeling you get from morning exercise. It means that in addition to the exercise you will keep more active all day.

yes because your body feeds off your body fat already stored in it as opposed to glycogen aka sugar energy which comes from the food you ate that day!
