- Does The Bicycle Exercise Burn Fat In Stomach Area Or Just Get Abs Cause Im Tryin To Get Rid Of My Flab Stomac Any form of exercise burns fat by expending energy. You cannot “regionally” burn fat, say in your stomach, by working those muscles. Bicycling will burn a great deal of fat if done regularly and intensively, and will strengthen abs. However, I would recommend sit-ups or something similar to further work those muscles, in addition to [...]...

Drink only water. No soda at all. Stay away from sugars and cakes etc…. eat lots of lean protein like chicken and steak. Stay away from “white” carbs like flour, rice, potatoes, bread….eat lots of leafy green veggies and fruit. If you have will power and stick to it, you will see great results. As far as exersize goes, do yoga. Good luck sweetie!

You cant just burn fat on one specific area. For example- its a common misconception that if someone wants to lose fat off their stomach they should do sit-ups. All that does is tightens the muscle under your fat where no one can even see it.
If you are concerned about your weight.. start eating slightly less throughout the day (and healthier) and do cardio exercise (meaning jogging/walking/swimming- anything that raises your heartrate)

Well, If you serve yourself during meals, have your parents do it and dont eat anymore than what is on your plate. I did this, im 12, i used to be 103 lbs and 5’2″ tall, but now im 93 lbs and 5’3″ tall!! Plus i have alot more energy! Try it, it only takes a week or two to work!!!!

O.K. bad news first. YOu cannot control where you lose weight. It is genetic, you have no control. Good news exercise and diet can reduce your overall fat a weight training can increase muscle mass making what fat you do have sit better and look better. So eat right. Fruits, veggies, lean meats, whole grains, low fat dairy. Drink plenty of water 8-10 glasses of pure water ( mineral water is o.k. too, but tea and soda do not count) Exercise. start out slow and try to work up to eventually 3-4 hours a week. Now fat loss does not happen overnight. It takes a long long time. if you lose weight quickly it is water and will come right back when you get rehydrated. But if you watch your calories and fat and eat the types of foods i mentioned you will not be hungry and will lose about 1-2 pounds a week which means most of what you lose will be fat not water ( a good thing) that number on the scale is just a number. It is about how you feel and how you look right? So focus less on it and more on you measurements. I know people that have lost 4-5 inches off their waist and have on total lost less than 10 pounds. The reason is muscle weighs more than fat and as you workout you will gain muscle and lose fat.
As for strength training for abdominal area, i recomend pilates. They are wonderful at increasing core strength and focus on the midsection. start out slow and don’t push to hard. I also use weight machines at my local gym.
I have in the last for months lost 4 inches off my waist and 30 pounds.http://www.shape.com – have BMI calculators, calories burned calculators, ideal weight calculators etc. fourms to ask questions and good healthy information.

I hike a lot with my summer job, and usually find my pants fitting a lot looser after the first month.
My diet in the summer usually consists of lots of chicken and turkey sandwiches for lunch, cereal or yogurt for breakfast and something like BLTs for dinner. Things like watermelon are always nice to eat in the summer heat anyway, and they help keep you hydrated. Stay away from things like soda, they hinder your cardiovascular performance anyway. Drink a lot of water, you’re not getting any calories that way. If you do hike a lot though, sometimes it is neccessary to drink things like Powerade. If you find your bloodsugar getting low while doing this, I take Kool-Aid with me. It’s mostly water, but has enough sugar in it to keep you elevated.
The hiking doesn’t have to be rigorous though, just walk everywhere you can.

Well there is only a few ways to keep in good weight….
Eat the right foods so you burn off the callories you eat, instead of eating foods with a high calory itake that you wont burn off, and it will turn into fat
Also exersise as much as you can every week….even walking does you good…but you have to walk briskly, no dordelling along
‘
Maybe fgo to the gym and use the machines for an hour…dont try push yourself cos it will onli result in injury…
Try your best :]

Burn more calories than you eat.
It is that simple – but it is not easy!
There are NO QUICK FIXES! People will tell you “Atkins” or “The Zone” or whatever but don’t be fooled! These diets will only enable you to lose weight & keep it off while you are on the diet. As soon as you go back to your normal eating habits the weight will pile back on.
Oh, and make sure you eat a filling but healthy breakfast.
You should be aiming for 1 to 2 pounds PER WEEK. ANy more than that and you can run the risk of sagging skin, heart problems & putting it all back on!
