I Have Fat Thighs But A Small Stomach. Is Weight Training Going To Make Them Bigger?
i have a small stomach and a normal weist but my thighs and calves are too big and fat. i hit the tredmill everyday for 30 mins and the bike for 15. then i do weight training for the thighs will it make it too musclular and bigger or wil lthe mudcles burn the fat and just leave the muscles making them smaller but muscular?

The best exercise from the waste to the ankles is TENNIS. It’s especially good for chubby thighs and buttocks. The reason is that you rotate your hips and shoulders naturally when hitting the ball which happens to be the perfect exercise for toning your lower body. The bonus to this exercise is you have fun and develop a skill requiring excellent hand to eye coordination. Try it, it’s lots of fun.

You’ll burn fat before you gain muscle, so yes, they’ll get smaller first.
But I think this also depends on your food intake. So just don’t eat too much, probably just eat what you normally eat.

Exercise should balance it all out.
A woman who is fit looks so much better than one who isn’t.
Remember to do some upper body work as well.
I suggest doing some exercises that get the legs moving, such as walking, jogging, running, swimming or bike riding.
These exercises that really get your heart pumping will burn the weight off quickly.
I like push ups, yoga stretches, pull ups, crunches, curl ups, leg stretches, calf raises, and squats as far as being good toning exercises that use no equipment and cost zero money to perform.
I like taking some dumbbells and doing some easy bicep curls, military presses, and lateral raises.
I think diet is important also and try to eat healthy home-cooked meals with lots of vegetables in them.
I try to stay away from the pop and sugar, candy, white flour products, and fast food.
I try to get a good night’s sleep each night.

Lots of excersice with little or none weigth at all will burn the fat but wont make the muscle bigger (or not much anyway) the muscle still will get stronger (not a lot)
in the other side, less excersice but with the most weigth you can will burn fat also (although not as much as a lot of excersice) but will make the muscle bigger (if you want bigger muscles, everytime you start to feel the weigth is getting easier to move you should upgrade it to a heavier weigth (always do the heviest weigth you can).
if you only want to burn fat, just run a lot 2h a day or eat less fat/carbohydrates (they important so dont just stop eat them, but reduce them) eat more vegetables, 70-90% of vegetables end up in the toilet =) and will keep you healthy and full.

it depends- by “big thighs.” do you have celulite? do they giggle a lot? if so, weight training will make them much smaller.
but if no, and they are muscular, they will most likfely continue to grow.

the only way you can lose that fat is cardio weight training can help tone but won’t give you the results that youre looking for you’ll build muscle but lose the fat with cardio like youre doing already
