How Long Does It Take Muscle To Burn Fat?
I hate to bore you w/ my history but it may help your answer. I was once 180 pounds over a year ago. I’m now 128.8 and for a couple of months was exercising 5 days a week for 1hr. +10mins. I work hard on the stomach but I can’t seem to loose about 2 inches of fat just sitting there. I decide, I’m working too hard and not letting my muscles heal to build them. Most programs say, exercise 3 days a week, I’ve decided on 4(every other day) to let the muscle heal and build. I’m gonna increase my calories to 1300 cause 1000 just put me at a stand still and I’m eating all the right things, I’ve looked it up so don’t say I’m eating wrong.
K, so now all that’s out, I need to know how long it will take to build my muscle working out 4 times a week, 45 mins of cardio and 30 mins of toning?
And how long will it take that muscle to burn my fat off?
Please help, references would be good too.

You are only consuming 10 calories per pound of bodyweight (at 1300, even worse at 1000). That’s not enough calories especially if you are working out 4 days a week. Your muscles will not grow at these low caloric levels even if you are giving them the proper stimulation at the gym. It takes about two weeks to really start to notice the difference of a healthy diet and exercise routine.
Do your weightlifting first and then your cardio. I’d recommend HIIT cardio (high intensity interval training)

When fat is “burning” off, you can feel it…until then, the fat is still there.

Muscle and fat are two complete different component. Muscles does not burn fat, your metabolism burns your fat. How long is depend on what you are doing, and your depend on your genetic back ground. Each individual is different.
